The figures below are produced by the payroll calculation used in the product, for a ₹26,000 monthly salary, 26 working days, two absences and one half day, with attendance affecting salary turned on. Paid leave is not deducted under the default policy. A ₹1,000 food allowance and a ₹2,000 advance recovery are added, and ₹10,000 is recorded as paid. This is not a customer payslip.
The advance recovery reduces what is paid out. It is not treated as a cut to the salary expense. A daily example at ₹800 for 22.5 payable days is ₹18,000. Daily pay is not also cut by the monthly attendance deduction.
Owners, admins and accountants recording pay for staff or drivers. Supervisors can mark attendance and do not get the salaries screen. Payroll execution is included from Pro.
Monthly pay can be prorated by calendar days or a manual factor when someone joins or leaves mid-month. Daily pay uses payable attendance days. Per trip uses payable trips. Per km uses approved payable kilometres. If attendance is incomplete for a daily salary, the draft stays in review and cannot be finalized until that is cleared.
A period can be draft, finalized or voided. Payments can be unpaid, partial, paid or overpaid, in cash, UPI or bank. Corrections, bonus, allowance, missed amount, overpayment, deduction and recovery are adjustment types. The payslip PDF says it is a company salary copy, not a statutory payslip.
There is no PF, ESI or TDS calculation, no statutory challan, and no bank-file disbursement. Attendance does not change pay unless the salary profile turns that on.
Driver trip advances, batta and trip settlement stay on driver khata. Use payroll when the person has a salary. Use khata when the person is settled from trips.
