POD on the trip

From the trip, the office uploads a photo or a PDF of the signed delivery copy. The file is stored on that trip. The upload limit on the trip screen is 10 MB. Proof of delivery upload is included from Starter Free, within that plan's storage.
There is no sample POD photo on this page. A delivery photo is a customer document, and this site does not publish one.
Status becomes POD Uploaded
Trip statuses include Scheduled, Booked, Loaded, In Transit, Delivered, POD Uploaded, Billed, Paid and Closed. An office POD upload can move a trip that has not been cancelled, and that is still before POD Uploaded, to POD Uploaded.
A driver upload sets POD Uploaded only when the current status is already Delivered. Neither upload creates a payment collection or a status named Delivered with POD.
WhatsApp is a share, not a collection workflow
You can share the POD file on WhatsApp. Manual sharing is available on every public plan. When the company has automated WhatsApp, which starts on Pro, the office upload can show a share prompt. That prompt does not send a balance-freight demand on its own.
Driver login is separate from the owner account
A driver uses a linked staff login, not the owner's password. Driver mode is included from Pro. The driver can update trip status and upload the delivery file. What they see is that driver login.
What a stored POD helps with
In Indian transport, the signed delivery copy is what the office looks for before billing the balance freight. A paper copy left in a cabin is hard to find. Keeping the image or PDF on the trip means the same record is available to the people who can open that trip.
Storage is not unlimited. Current limits are Starter Free 1 GB per company; Basic 3 GB per company; Pro 10 GB per company; Enterprise 50 GB shared across companies. When the limit is reached, new uploads stop. Existing files remain. The pricing page reads the same catalog.

How do I upload a POD?

Can my driver upload POD from their own phone?
A linked driver login can upload an image or PDF. That upload marks the trip POD Uploaded only when the trip status is already Delivered. Driver mode is included from Pro.
Can I share POD with parties on WhatsApp?
You can share the file yourself. Manual WhatsApp sharing is on every public plan. On Pro and Enterprise, an office POD upload can open a WhatsApp share prompt. The prompt does not send a payment reminder by itself.
How long is a POD kept?
The file uses the company's document storage. Each plan has a storage limit. A new upload is blocked when that limit is full. Files already stored stay. There is no separate promise that a POD is kept for a fixed number of years.
Does uploading POD update the trip status?
An office upload can set the status to POD Uploaded when the trip is not cancelled and has not already reached that status. It does not create a status called Delivered with POD, and it does not start an automatic payment collection.
