What the LR PDF includes
One receipt from the trip
LR/Bilty PDFs are included from Basic. The receipt can carry consignor and consignee, goods, article or packing details, weight, vehicle and freight taken from the trip.
A receipt is Draft, Finalised or Void. Revisions are Current, Superseded or Pending. A finalised receipt is not edited back into a draft; a new revision is the path when the document must change.
Your template and numbering
The LR template sets the heading, labels and number series. Company details on the PDF come from the settings you save. This is a transport receipt, not an e-invoice.
E-Way Bill and reverse charge
You can type an E-Way Bill number. VahanBooks does not generate the E-Way Bill.
When GST applies and the transporter is not collecting it, the receipt can print a reverse-charge note naming the consignee. That note is not a tax filing.
Share the PDF yourself
Download or print the receipt, then share it on WhatsApp. Manual sharing is on every public plan. The share action does not mark the trip delivered.

LR, bilty number and GST invoice do different jobs
Use the bilty number on the trip when you only need the consignment reference. Use this LR when the godown wants the PDF. Use a GST freight invoice when you are billing tax on the freight. POD stays on the trip as an image or PDF.

Does VahanBooks generate an E-Way Bill?
No. The E-Way Bill number on an LR is a reference you type. The PDF does not create the E-Way Bill.
Can I change a finalised LR?
A finalised receipt is not turned back into a draft. You can void it, and a later revision can supersede the current copy.
Is the sample on this page a customer document?
No. It is the product sample used to show the layout. Names, goods and amounts are placeholders.
