Fields that matter on a collection day
Date, vehicle and driver
Every collection row needs a date, the vehicle number and the driver who was on duty. Without those three, a pending amount cannot be followed up and month-end arguments start.
Expected collection vs collected amount
Expected collection is what the vehicle or shift should have produced — your target, stand agreement or usual daily figure. Collected amount is what actually came in. The gap is the first signal that something is off.
Cash, UPI and pending amount
Split cash and UPI so you know what should be in hand. Pending amount is what the driver still has to submit — yesterday’s short, a hold-back, or a confirmed shortfall. This is driver-wise vehicle collection, not a bank NPA tool.
History, expenses, monthly total and net earnings
History shows the last days for that vehicle. Add fuel or other costs when they belong to the same day. Monthly total is the sum of collections; outstanding collection is still-pending rows; net earnings are collections minus the expenses you recorded.
